Historia del judaísmo en la época del Segundo Templo

El conocimiento de los orígenes del cristianismo supone, necesariamente, el de los temas fundamentales del pensamiento judío, es decir, la evolución de la religión y la espiritualidad de Israel entre los siglos VI a.C. y I d.C., íntimamente relacionada, a su vez, con los acontecimientos fundamentales de la historia de Palestina en ese periodo. Desde esta perspectiva, la «Historia del judaísmo en la época del Segundo Templo» se dirige, en palabras de su autor, a «ilustrar, enmarcar y discutir ciertos aspectos del pensamiento judío precristiano que pueden servir para comprender mejor las primeras posiciones cristianas», integrando para ello los últimos resultados de las investigaciones sobre la literatura bíblica, apócrifa, qumránica y del judaísmo helenista. Para esta edición española el autor, Catedrático de Filología bíblica en la Universidad de Turín, ha reelaborado su versión original del capítulo dedicado a la cultura judía del siglo VI, con especial énfasis en la relevancia del exilio en el surgimiento del judaísmo y, en especial, en la figura de Ezequiel como trasmisor de concepciones cosmológicas babilónicas. En el epílogo, también propio de esta edición, repasa sumariamente el estado actual de la investigación de las cuestiones más candentes.

The knowledge of the origins of Christianity implies, necessarily, the knoledge of the fundamental themes of the Jewish thought, i.e. the evolution of the religion and the spirituality of Israel among the centuries VI BC and I AC., closely linked, in turn, with the fundamental events of the history of Palestine in this period. From this perspective, the "History of Judaism in the time of the Second Temple" is addressed, in the words of its author, illustrate, framing and discuss certain aspects of prechristian Jewish thought that can serve to better understand the first christian believes, integrating to this end the latest results of the research on biblical literature, apocryphal, qumránica and Judaism Hellenistic. For this Spanish edition the author, professor of Philology of the Bible in the University of Turin, has reinterpreted his original version of the chapter dedicated to the Jewish culture of the VI century, with special emphasis on the relevance of the exile in the emergence of Judaism, and in particular the figure of Ezekiel as a transmitter of conceptions cosmological Babylonian. In the epilogue, also own of this edition, reviews briefly the current state of the investigation of the most burning issues.
