The fragments of this manuscript are important because they reveal the intentions of the author in the list of the High Priests before the Exile and after the Exile in a selective one, then in a more exhaustive list for the Maccabean and Hasmonaean period, followed by 'Kings of the Davidic line'. These sequences of names make clear the anti-Hasmonaean opposition of the author joining under a single head the priestly and royal offices, maintaining the expectation of a traditional double messianism.
