Abstract:

The correct reading and placement of 4Q176 frag. 24 shows that 4Q176 8-11 lines 16-17 contained the text of Lamentations 4:21-22. Lines 15-17 are written in a more semi-cursive script than the preceding columns, and may be witness to a secondary addition to the text of the TanḼumim. An appendix reassigns 4Q176 frag. 40 to 4Q84.
