The Apocryphal Daniel Apocalypses

The apocryphal Daniel apocalypses have been the subject of much fine research since the publication of this author’s 2005 volume, The Book of Daniel and the Apocryphal Daniel Literature. This paper discusses this new research in view of the author’s manuscript investigations since 2005, updating and revising information as required. Part One focuses on the individual works and their manuscript evidence. Part Two discusses the nature and composition of the Daniel apocalyptica as a whole and as part of a 'general mediaeval apocalyptic tradition'.
