Abstract

The paper rises some doubts and questions through some examples taken from the Qumran evidence, namely: - the relationship between the LXX mss from Qumran and the Qumran Targumim; - the problem of the lacunae in the biblical mss from the Judaean Desert; - what does it mean "para-biblical" from a Qumranic point of view? - the impact of the DSS on the modern translations of the OT.*
