Abstract

The first section of this article offers an overview of the biblical scrolls from Qumran and other Judaean sites in the desert and discusses the ongoing contribution of many recently-published biblical scrolls to study of the Hebrew Bible. Brief descriptions of six projects in progress are offered: Biblia Hebraica Quinta The Hebrew University Bible Project, The Oxford Hebrew Bible, The Qumran Bible, The Dead Sea Scrolls Bible and the Text and Interpretation series. The second section presents the preliminary editions of three scrolls that contain ‘Psalms of David’ (4QPsP 4QPsr and 4QPss), and two more that contain ‘Psalms of the Sons of Korah’ (4QPst and 4QPsu).
